I guess that's a good thing. :)Jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08513414391068057176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2297799589801162399.post-19484461911027564772012-09-14T20:59:06.067-07:002012-09-14T20:59:06.067-07:00How did I miss this comment? I've gotten better in recent months about slowing down with my kids or just sitting on the porch visiting with neighbors.

Really enjoyed this post! And, I'm resubscribing - I was following you in my reader, but apparently am no longer getting your updates.

Keep up the insightful writing!Bethhttp://www.littlemagpie.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2297799589801162399.post-17271406745820916502012-09-02T18:08:49.932-07:002012-09-02T18:08:49.932-07:00this is so good! What I love most about this though is how much you learned outside of the conference yet they were interactions that occurred because of the conference! I'm working on being a better one. In Michigan, people don't even make eye contact as you pass by. And, speak? Unheard of, literally. Now when I go home to visit and I say hi to everyone I pass, I feel uncomfortable. I'm still not good with small talk but I'm a good listener.

gina Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2297799589801162399.post-941177513497420842012-09-02T07:48:23.043-07:002012-09-02T07:48:23.043-07:00Love this, Jody. Kudos to you for recognizing and retraining!Fawn @ Instead of the Disheshttp://insteadofthedishes.comnoreply@blogger.com
